Refund & Returns Policy
This policy sets out how returns, refunds, and cancellations work when you purchase from cocerpeptides.co.uk (the “Site”). All products sold on this Site are supplied strictly for research purposes only and are not for human or animal consumption. Please read this policy alongside our Terms & Conditions before ordering.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling / Consumer Contracts Regulations)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
However, due to the nature of research peptides, this right does not apply once a product has been unsealed or opened, for health, safety, and hygiene reasons — in line with the statutory exemption for goods that are unsuitable for return once unsealed after delivery. This means:
- If your item arrives sealed and unopened, you may cancel and return it within 14 days of receipt
- Once the seal on any vial, container, or packaging has been broken, the product cannot be returned or refunded, except where faulty (see Section 3)
2. How to Cancel or Return an Unopened Item
To cancel your order or return an unopened item:
- Contact us at [contact email] within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number and reason for return
- We will confirm return instructions and the return address
- Send the item back unopened, in its original packaging, at your own cost, within 14 days of notifying us
- We recommend using a tracked/signed-for delivery service, as we cannot issue a refund for items lost in transit back to us
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days, using the original payment method.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us at [contact email] within 48 hours of delivery, including:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs of the item and packaging as received
We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including reasonable return postage costs, once the issue is confirmed. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, except where faulty:
- Any product with a broken seal or opened packaging
- Products stored or handled incorrectly after delivery (e.g. not kept refrigerated/frozen where instructed)
- Products purchased more than 14 days ago
5. Order Cancellations Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at [contact email]. If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If it has already been dispatched, standard return conditions above will apply.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item (or confirming a fault)
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or sent in error
- Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
